Here I stand in the middle of nowhere
Any direction is a good one
You may think of this as trepidating
But I relish the challenge that lies ahead

There are some bad choices
Yet they are minute
Against the endless possiblities
Of good choices that lay before me

While some may walk with fear
I lumber forward with my head held high
No one can strike me down
Not the want of money nor the need of people

Before I choose my path
I meditate silenty
Asking the spirits to set my travels out before me
I wait for an answer before the trek commences
